My Work As A Sculptor
There is a unity of knowledge that parses itself out in seeming islands of focus. Systems thinking, technology, and mathematics, become then artistic tools bringing more of this unity into focus, and advances - regardless of field - will be driven by penetrating into this unity to recreate islands. This will result in new science and the birthing of myriad new technologies. My work, perhaps, is akin to that of a sculptor, working to bring more of the unseen into tangible reality.

Pravir Malik
He is a systems thinker and approaches computation at the quantum level by seeing the layers of matter and life as a single system. This perception has resulted in the articulation of a fractal model connecting patterns at the cellular, atomic, and quantum particle levels to root patterns at the quantum level and has been elaborated through a ten-volume mathematical treatise on a cosmology of light, and numerous IEEE technical articles. Dr. Malik has a patent pending on a fourfold fractal-based quantum computer.
Dr. Malik’s quantum computational theory derives from a unified theory and mathematics of organization developed over a couple of decades. In all, he has penned 24 books related to this. In his doctoral dissertation on the mathematics of innovation in complex adaptive systems, he created a top-down in contrast to the already existing bottom-up mathematics for complex systems. Beyond its application in quantum systems, this mathematics has been practically applied to the development of pricing systems, emotional intelligence systems, and AI, and theoretically applied to the areas of genetics, pharmaceutical technology, nanotechnology, space sciences, and computational theory.
Dr. Malik has funded activities at QIQuantum through modeling behavioral, organizational, and other complex systems to help different stakeholders practically navigate and understand possible futures.
In his capacity as the Forbes Technology Council group leader for Quantum Computing, he led four quantum computing events in 2023 focused on alternative trajectories for quantum computation. The group that he helped found earlier in 2023 has now grown to 100 executives belonging to Forbes Council member companies. During the pandemic, he led a multi-part Organizational Sciences Certification program for Forbes, which was attended by executives from 250 companies. This certification was based on his views of complex systems, cosmology of light, and the importance of maturing teams through emotional intelligence. Dr. Malik believes that each individual is endowed with a sophisticated EQ radar-system that can give profound insight into how complex systems are changing. He developed a practical EQ-based App that has been used by the Indian Armed Forces, Zappos, Stanford University Medical Center, and Nucor, amongst other organizations, to help teams reach higher levels of self-directed operational maturity.
Previously, Dr. Malik has held a number of diverse leadership positions. These include being Head of Organizational Sciences and Head of Pricing Operations at Zappos.com - an eCommerce company, Managing Director of BSR - a global sustainability and environmental consulting company, and a member of the Founding Team of A.T. Kearney India - a global operations-focused management consulting company. He has a Ph.D. in Technology Management with a focus on Mathematics of Innovation in Complex Adaptive Systems from the University of Pretoria, an MBA from Northwestern University’s J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management, an MS in Computer Science from the University of Florida with a focus on AI, and a BSE in Computer Engineering from the Case Western Reserve University.

Four Universal Principles
Four universal organizational principles can be found at the heart of any stable and resilient complex system: Knowledge, Presence, Harmony and Power. At the same time there are default patterns that drive the functioning of any type of organization. The question is how in-synch are the default patterns with the natural patterns of innovation that are found to exist in sustainable physical, chemical, biological, psychological, economic, social and other such systems?

About Me
Over the past few decades, my career has woven through a tapestry of varied roles. At A.T. Kearney India, I was part of the foundational team, delving into the complexities of emerging market consulting. My leadership journey took me to BSR, where I focused on sustainability initiatives as a managing director, and to Zappos.com, where I oversaw Organizational Sciences and Pricing Operations. In the realm of technology, I began my career on robotic vision, expert systems, and NLP projects for GE, Honeywell, and ZS Associates, respectively, and more recently have embarked on entrepreneurial ventures with Deep Order Technologies and QIQuantum and on guiding quantum computing discussions as the Quantum Computing community leader for Forbes Technology Council.
My path has been one driven by passion, seeking harmony between the internal and external worlds. This quest has culminated in the development of a unified theory and mathematics of organization, encapsulated in over 25 books I’ve authored, primarily focused on fractals and light.
Embracing the enigma of our existence, I’ve sought to remain adaptable, allowing emerging signs to guide my pursuits. A notable instance was when, in 2015, a South African professor, inspired by my work on fractals in organizations, led me to pursue a Ph.D. to give mathematical structure to these concepts. This decision set off a chain of exciting developments.
I ventured into writing about complex systems for Forbes, coinciding with the onset of the pandemic and a surge in online engagement. Responding to this shift, I designed a comprehensive Organizational Sciences Certification program with Forbes, attended by leaders from 250 companies. This program integrated insights from complex systems, the cosmology of light, and the crucial role of emotional intelligence in team development. My belief in the power of emotional intelligence to give profound insight into complex adaptive systems led to ongoing enhancements of EQ-based software I had previously developed, used by diverse organizations including the Indian Armed Forces, Zappos, Nucor, and Stanford University Medical Center.
Second, was the mathematical refinement of the fractal framework, leading to an innovative interpretation of quantum dynamics and the development of an alternative logic, mathematics, and architecture for quantum computation. My current focus is on navigating the complexities of commercializing this novel approach to quantum dynamics and computation.
Amidst these challenges, my optimism remains unwavering, and I approach each day driven to sculpt more of the invisible into reality.
